Santorini Skies Project Reveal: Part 2

The Santorini Skies are calling and it's time for us to dive back in and explore some of the other retreat spaces in the home. First up, we have the primary bedroom which serves as the perfect oasis for rest and relaxation.

This primary ensuite has a modern and sophisticated design that works harmoniously with the island's coastal vibes. The wallpaper accentuated on the headboard wall mirrors the sunset skies and has a metallic warm gold color. This adds a subtle touch of luxury. As with the rest of the house, blue is a consistent theme. We see a variety of blues throughout this room that work well together. The deep indigo blue of the bed anchors the space and the depth of this color is intentionally picked up in the rug variations. Something that works so well in this space is the combination of black accents and warm cream colors found in the bed, bench, and side table cushions. The variance and depth of these color combinations make the beautiful burlwood dresser pop. It's definitely the star of the show. Burlwood is having a moment and we are here for it!

The primary bathroom is luxury! It's spacious and gives mega spa vibes. The textured wallpaper gives the room an organic feel and the stained wood vanity is enhanced with the stained wood trimmed mirror and pendants. We love how the natural wood element brightens the room and adds warmth. Soaking tub? Yes, please! This is a bathroom that is designed for relaxation and that tub would be a part of our nightly ritual to unwind and relax.

We are obsessed with the coastal modern design of Guest bedroom 1 and we are here for the tongue and groove ceiling with the peacock beams! 😍 The teal and light blues of this space paired with the natural and light stained wood and canes make this the perfect place to relax after a sun-filled day at the beach. Take a peek at the adjourning bathroom - blue vanities make us happy!

How do you maximize a small space? Two twin beds please! The cute little room gives us casual surfer vibes with the choice of bedding, art and the gorgeous wood slatted wall detail in a warm stain. See that little detail with the window? The stained casing is a subtle modern detail that adds architectural detail to this small space.

The next guest room features a white vertical shiplap accent wall and the prettiest fluted nightstands that bring together all the colors of the beach (and this room!). The colors of blues, white, sand, green and gray which reinforces the beach house vibes of this home. The adjacent bathroom is pristine white with a rich, medium blue floor tile that ties the two spaces together.

The final bedroom is another perfect beach retreat space. The organic textures of the bed and the nightstand bring out the coastal modern vibes of the space. We love the headboard accent feature of the white shiplap - its playful and casual while still bringing a finished look to the space. The wall color really has the deep, greenish blue hue of the depths of the sea.

The upstairs den is cool, calm and collect. We love the modern, velvet chairs with their funky personality and the charming rattan coffee tables. The vibes of this space read light and airy with a splash of personality. The dedicated bar space has a colorful and fun backsplash along with charming blue cabinetry. The two spaces really complement each other.

This house was such a fun project for us to work on. Each house always has their own personality and we love how we could lean into our coastal modern aesthetic and paint the town (I mean, house) blue.
