After moving through more than 20 homes, this couple chose to build their forever home on Anna Maria Island, Florida, envisioning a residence that went far beyond the typical beach house. They wanted a home that felt timeless, sophisticated, and deeply connected to the natural beauty of Tampa Bay—a place that reflected both their love for the island and their appreciation for exceptional design. Led by principal designer Emily Moss, our team crafted a luxury coastal-modern interior design that embraces the bayfront setting while delivering a layered, transitional aesthetic that will stand the test of time. Expansive windows throughout the home frame uninterrupted water views, creating a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living and filling each space with natural light. Standout design features include a serene primary suite wrapped in custom blue-framed grasscloth, designed with two queen beds to reflect the homeowners’ lifestyle and maximize comfort. The spa-inspired primary bathroom features reeded wall detailing, arched shower and niches, and a marble mosaic floor that flows continuously throughout the entire space, including into the shower, paired with custom cabinetry, specialty hardware, and oversized statement chandeliers. At the heart of the home is a custom kitchen centered around a 16-foot island, showcasing two-toned cabinetry, a gold-inlaid custom range hood, paneled appliances with coordinating inlay, and thoughtful storage solutions that balance beauty with everyday functionality. The living room is anchored by a dramatic waterfall chandelier in antique-burnished brass with fractured glass trim, creating a sculptural focal point for gathering and entertaining. Additional spaces include a corner office surrounded by water views—designed for both productivity and comfort—and quickly becoming a favorite spot for the homeowners and their dogs alike.
